The same applied to several other old by roads of its kind, such as the little road from Kilfinny village to Ballinakill burial ground. This road was to come out when finished somewhere about Carrigeen but that road also was never finished. All the by roads are still used as there are several avenues or passages leading into farmers houses from them.The by roads are not lonely to travel at the present day as there are several lovely cottages built at the side of each of them.
