  1. Toothache. The only cure for a toothache I know is to put a pinch of breadsoda in a glass of hot water and keep it in the side you have the pain. It takes the pain away for the time being.

    The people of this locality rubbed whiskey on the crown of their head and covered it with a cloth when they had a headache.
