In former times the Smith used make nails for horse shoeing also pigrings and other things which are now made by machinenary the Smith's name Robert O'Neill. His father was also a Smith the trade being handed down from father to son.
   In times past the Forge was a meeting place for people on wet days when seated on the h? the latest news was discussed, stories told and some times song would be sung and arguements started.
