    perhaps the poorer kind of licensed eel weir fisher, made a sgiach or shallow bottomed basket. The main ribs of which converged and were pointed. The wicker work generally was open enough to let the water through generously, but not sufficient to let the eels pass freely. At the point of convergence of the stays of the sgiach, there was sufficient opening - and consequent flow of water to carry the eel through. This Sgiach was of course filled in the mouth of a sack, or with better conditioned individuals, to the mouth of a sack-like net.
    People have no business in a churchyard except at a funeral. If you intend putting up a "stone" over a grave, the day and the time to begin that work is when a funeral is going in there (To that churchyard)
