  2. Get a hay-mouse and boil him in a saucepan of milk. When he is boiled give the milk to the person afflicted with the disease. This has been known to cure many.

  3. To cure diarrhoea a person should go to three wells without speaking to anyone and not to let the bottle touch the ground once. At each well he should get some of the water and bring it home to the invalid. The latter should drink the water which was believed to cure.
