Poll an Airgid. - Situated in Late Lord Emly's estate, Clarina, Co. Limerick.
    Slight mound marks the place.
About ten years ago an old man dreamt of this field , and that if he dug at a certain spot he would get money. He and three others went . They dug for some time, and came to a flat stone. They were about to raise it when they were affected by a peculiar sound coming from beneath the stone. They ran away, and when they came back to look at the place next day the earth had been neatly filled in.
Since that day, the place has been known as "Poll an Airgid"
