  1. Signs of the Weather

There are many signs which foretell the weather.

There are many signs which foretell the weather. Some are for bad and some for good weather. Some of the bad signs are:
When a cat is sitting with her back to the fire or when an ass is standing with his back to a ditch it is a sign of rain.
When a robin is very low in a bush it is the sign of bad weather.
Another sign of bad weather is when a dog eats grass.
When there is a rainbow in the sky, this is the sign of rain. It is also said that if a spider is killed there is going to be very wet weather. When the sheep huddle together under the bushes it is a sign of stormy weather.
Some signs of good weather are when a cock crows early in the morning.
When you see a frog of golden colour
