- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)bands was called the Terries. At the time of the Terries there was a man living at the cross who had a son. This boy used to stay out late in the night. One night as he was coming home the Terries caught him and cut his head off. Then they took his head, put it on again and put him inside the fathers door. When the father got up next morning he hit his son on the head and to his surprise the head fell to the floor.Written by Patrick Kennedy, Killyloughnane, Nenagh.Told by James Martin, Grange, Nenagh.
