Knigh castle was built by the Norman's in the twelfth century and that is about eight hundred years ago.
People say there is an underground ladder which reaches from the castle to the 'Ciaran' which is on the right side in Knigh Hill.
On this 'Ciaran' there is a big ivy tree, and if the Normans were in danger of attack, they went u along the ladder. When the came to the door at the top of this 'ciaran' the opened it and came up. They used to hide under the ivy-tree. The place of the door in the 'ciaran' is covered over by a big rock, which would way about three hundred tons.
Inside Knigh castle there is a stairs made of stone. It is in very good repair. People living near this castle say
