Then suddenly the dog let an awful howl and with one spring pulled his head out of the collar and raced back up the road. Michael was thunderstruck but on looking before him he saw the cause of it all - there was the black pig looking at him with a menacing look. He instantly rembered the Holy Water, and taking the bottle from his pocket, shook it at the black pig - saying "Go your way in the name of God" once the black pig disappeared, and the eeriness left the place. Michael went on and went into the second next house where he saw a light, intending to stay there for the night, after such a terrible fright. He thought he had a great surprise for the people in telling them about the pig he had seen, but all they said was "God help us is that all you know about him" They told him he was after seen in that spot.
