- Long ago there was a great rain storm in the month of March in the year of 1903. It did a lot of damage throughout the country, it up rooted trees and threw them across the road. It knocked house and killed people. The wind started at nine o'clock in thenight and lasted until eight in the morning. Telegraph wires were broken. The trees which wee thrown across the road were given to the poor people.
