    between the bow and the twine. The twine is then pulled and released and the arrow shoots off.
    A toy that is now gone out of use is the home-made top. These are made out of a large spool from which the thread has been taken. Firstly the spool is pointed and the spear is put in. A piece of card is then wound around the top and then it is ready for use.
