    The fiery ditch is in Bourke’s farm. One night a few men set traps on this ditch to catch rabbits. They went about twelve or one o clock to see the traps but as they approached the ditch they saw that it was all on fire. They continued until they were just up to their traps when they heard something squealing and all of a sudden the fire quenched.
