Paddy O RafertyNote - Paddy O Raferty was a blacksmith and he worked in a forge out in Millpark[?] which is about half a mile out the Birr Road. The forge is not there now. Paddy O Raferty is dead about forty years. He used to go around from house to house telling stories every night and this song was composed about him.- Bailitheoir
