    who owned Monahincha and adjoining districts, for thirty-two pounds.
    The baptismal fonts are now outside the Roscrea Catholic Church. Both are made of stone and one is oramented with a Celtic design. The arm of the Celtic Cross is to be seen inside the church gates.
    Another baptismal font was taken from Monahincha and used as a cattle trough. Every animal who ate out of this died. It is now to be seen at Ballaghmore church.
