    cure it. Another cure for chin-cough was if you saw a man riding a grey horse if you asked him what was a cure for chin-cough whatever he would say was supposed to cure it.

  2. Long ago people had cures for almost every disease.
    For a sore throat they would put dried salt between two cloths.
    If they had a headache they would bathe it with vinegar, or drink strong tea.
    For a hiccough they would take three cups of cold water. After each cup of water they would bless themselves.
    When they had small-pox they would make a cover for their hands. This cover was to prevent them from itching it and to keep it from spreading.
