  1. Lismolin Graveyard, Barony of Slievardagh, Parish of County Tipperary.
Though the site of the buried treasure is not in my area I record the story here because the searchers on one occasion were men from Ballyphilip a townland adjoining the school.
A man in Ballyphilip dreamed three nights in succession of the exact spot in the graveyard where the treasure lay buried
He told some of his neighbours about the matter, and five others volunteered to go with him in quest of the gold
One of these, John Maher, Ballyphilip noted for his great courage, carried a shotgun.
They reached the graveyard about midnight and proceeded to dig at the spot indicated in the dream.
After some hours digging they uncovered a large flat stone underneath which lay the treasure
Just then strange unearthly noises were heard, their lights were extinguished
