- One day my father was cutting thistles at the Castle of Ballymacady in the parish of Golden, Co. Tipperary. He had a horse and thistle cutter and he was cutting. he saw the horse looking at something but he did not mind. He went cutting again and after a while the horse stopped. When he stopped he did not know what he was stopping for. The horse was looking and after awhile my father saw a woman. She called him and he did not know what he would do. He went over to her but when he went over she was gone. He did not see her going and he wondered where she was gone. He went back to the horse again and when he went back the horse was untackled and nothing happened him. When he went home to his dinner he told the men and they did not believe him. They said that there was not anyone there to do that to him.
