  1. (continued from previous page)
Then she went over to the grave to out the can down and a man said to her to take it away and she said that it was his last wish to put the can down with him Then the men told her to take it away and she would not. Then she thought to put it down in spite of them and they hit it with the spades and put it flying up for height. There were two bottoms in the can and for four hundred pounds flew out of it between gold and silver it was in between the two bottoms. All the people ran around to gather it up. Then the dead man sat up in the coffin and shouted at them "What are ye doing with all my money that I gathered so hard." Then all the people ran away and it was never known whether he was covered or not and that is the friendship he had for the can.
