    Red sky in the east in the morning is the sign of snow. Twinkling stars denotes frost; when sound travels a long distance it is also the sign of frost.
    According to Ed Griffin (50) Ballinulty Cullen, Tipperary bad weather may be expected - when the wind blows from Ballysheedy Castle (E or SE)
    Note Ballysheedy Castle is situated about 3 mls. South East of Cashel.
