    Note :- Mr .O Gorman NT,was born in Dromin and knows the locality extremely well says that Brian Merriman (Briain Mac Giolla Meidhre)was born in an old house in Lacken Kilmihil.Mr O Gorman now resides in Mountscott ,Miltown Malbay after 40 years school work in Coore N.S.he possesses rare knowledge of history particularly genealogy and it would repay some students to note down his facts of old families and houses in Clare.
