    Willie Gavin, a Protestant gentleman farmer who lived at Ross Hill, Kildysart.
    Willie Gavin, Frank Whitstones of Clondegad, Mick Ryan of Clonakilla, Ballynacally were the leading gentlemen sportsmen of this Parish of of Kildysart during the latter half of the last century.
