  1. About thirty years ago a man from Ballydaneen was going to a fair. Just as he was at Ballydaneen cross he met a "dead" funeral, and he thought it was a real funeral.
    He asked the last man who was being buried and the man said, "You had better ask the first man".
    The man did not do this but proceeded to the fair. He had one son and not long after the son fell sick and died.
