  1. When the people got married long ago they had many old customs about the clothes to wear. Married in blue your spirits will prove true, married in green you're ashamed to be seen, married in black you would rather be back, married in white you're chosen all right, married in pink your spirits will sink.
    A bride is supposed to be very lucky if she wears something old and something new, something borrowed and something blue.
    The bride borrows something small like a brooch a pin or a slide.
    The luckiest days to get married are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
