    St. Sinon's lake is one of the most remarkable lakes in Clare.St Sinon banished the serpent from that lake to Doolough lake.he took three jumps from St.Sinon's lake to Doolough lake. He lied on the way on a land and the sign of him is there still. He was ordered one and a half trout a day, and he died in Doolough lake.
