- There were severay forts or raths around here in olden times. The fairies were supposed to dwell in all those forts long ago.
The one I am going to write about is the one in Mr. Keoghan's of Liss.
There was in every fort a direct line between those places where the fairies were supposed to pass during the night and it was considered very unlucky to fence any of thoes gaps.
