He was lifted with the stacks and carried away to a quarry about 300 yrds distant and remained there till storm started about 4 AM
The roof was taken completely off Michael Brady's House, Courtbane, Dundalk.Shelagh Chapel was being completed that year and the storm stripped portion of the roof.
The big stone cross was blown 90 feet away.
Cross would weight about 2 cwt.
