    Give us some money to bury the wren
    When they say that they dance & sing.
    Some of them play melodeons, & others a french-fiddle. They make a lot of money, & they buy things or have a party.
    St. Brigid's Day
    On St. Brigid's day we make crosses in honour of St. Brigid's and we make them out of rushes, and when they are made we hang them on the back of the door.
    St. Patrick's Day
    On St. Patrick's day we wear badges, and ribbons, and Shamrock to honour him.
    Shrove Tuesday
    On Shrove Tuesday we make pancakes and we burn the holly under them with which the house was decorated at Christmas.
