  1. In Saint Peter's parish there are three graveyards, Newtown Drogheda. The Chord and the New Cemetery. There is a church in the Chord Cemetery in use still.
    The Chord is going from north to south. In the Chord there are tomblis and monuments and crosses. Local people follow their parents when possible. The oldest graveyard that I know is Killslautery situated at Black Hall Cross the only ruin that is left is a piered wall with cattle grazing through it.
