“This is a true story.”
This is a true story. It happened at Platten Hall. People in the name of Sloane lived there, and their generations is there now. Once there was a Distillery there. There are caves underneath the House. A carriage is supposed to come out of the caves about 11 or 12 O Clock at night. The carriage is lighted up and a College Cloak. There is no horses drawn the carriage.
Before it was ever seen. The people in the Gate Lodge and the men minding their sheep and herding their flock used to hear and see this carriage going through the fields and avenues. The people thought it might be the new master of the House going round to see were the men minding their flock or not.
One night Tom Keeley went out to see who was the new Master of the House. He stood behind a bunch of trees how he could not be seen. He got a fright when he saw the carriage with no horses coming up the avenue. He saw the man sitting with himself in the carriage. The(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
