Co Meath. - Once upon a time there was a small boy whose name was John Kelly. One day while Patrick Smith and himself were playing they thought of a plan. John's mother was making pancakes and the boys were very fond of pancakes. There was an old barn at the end of the house. The boys went into the barn and got a crooked piece of wire. There was a hole in the wall and the boys pushed the wire through the hole. They hooked a pancake and pulled it through the hole. They did this a few times and John's mother thought that there was a ghost in the wall. A few weeks later she was making pancakes again and the boys were(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
