- Some years ago tailors were much more plentiful than they are now in the country districts, as now every-body gets their clothes made locally. Now also the people have a much better way of travelling, and so they go to the city and large towns to get their clothes made. They young people think the local tailors much behind the update town and city fashions.
In most drapery shops you can buy your suit length and be measured. The shopkeeper pays his own tailors for doing the stitching, but in some shops(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
