    This fire burned turf on Walshes, all Brown's turf and a lot over in Carrenstown.
    Here are the names of most of the places it went through.
    The 1st fire
    Started in Carrenstown, Ballivor, Co. Meath.
    From Carrenstown to Grangemore, Derrelee.
    2nd Fire
    Started in Cockstown through Ballyhealy, Bracklyn, Pullwell, Derrelee, Ballinahee, Robinstown, Bellview and Grangemor. These places are in Westmeath all except Robinstown and Derrelee.
    About fifteen years ago there was a terrible fire. It lasted for a week beside our house. They could not go to bed during that time.
    Crowds came fro different places to see this fire.
