  1. There is one castle in ruins now in Rathmore. People of the name of Plunketts lived there long ago. There were seven sons in the family and they rode seven white horses. Cromwell did away with them. It has been derelict since the time of Cromwell. There is a grave yard beside it. There was an old chapel there long ago which is in ruins now. There is a ruined Church in the district known as Member Church, near which is a graveyard
