A field in the Tandy estate is called "Cruici Oirim". Gold is supposed to be buried in it. When my grandmother was alive she dreamt of gold being in it for two nights. On the second night she told her secret. If she had not told she would dream the third night and get the gold. So she spoiled her chance of getting the gold.
There is a tree in Balrath - three miles from Kells - on which is the print of a priest's foot. In the time of the Religious Persecution this priest was getting up the tree to escape the soldiers.
