    Another version is that the person wishing to get the gold so as to hit the cat on the forehead with a threepenny piece, stunning him for time so as to enable the person to procure the gold. The latter way to get the gold seems the most likely, but up to the present no one was brave enough to face this huge monster even for such a reward, and so the treasure remains in the custody of enormous creature.
