    another well above Oldcastle and it cures sores. People come on Sunday usually for the cure. They tie a string on a bush beside it and say prayers.
    There was a well in the town land of Garrysallagh [?] and people had a pass across the field to the well. The owner of the field closed up the well as he did not want to have people crossing his field. After this all his cattle died. He went to the priest and after the priest had blessed the cattle he told him to open the well again.
