- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)not able to describe it. Lough Sheelin was always called an enchanted lake as there were often visions seen in it and my Uncle saw a coffin floating by from Derry point going on seemingly for Finea direction.
Song
On a first Sunday Harvest so merry and gay.
A small boating party sailed from Finea With bright happy hearts the crew sailed along.
Beginnning their way with a laugh and a song
But its little they thought ere the sun it would set
That one of their comrades would draw his last breath.
II
Arrived at Finea they then fastened their boat
And they marched up the street on to Paddy's from Moat
Where they drank more or less how much is not known
Till the Publican told them it was time to go home
With jest and good humour they bid him farewell
And they started for home as the people all tell(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
