Another thing very much remarked by the people that no wicked dog ever attempted to bite him. He generally travelled through Westmeath and Meath. He had a great idea of where all people of note resided and could tell very correctly about their relations. The only mistake he was known ever to make was when enquiring for a special old man's health. He was always told " He is very well thank you Johnnie". He always replied by saying " God keep him so".
