    would come to the flag which he would remove and get the gold. When he found the treasure all he had to do was to replace the flag and throw a coin on it and tell the cock who would have returned by this time to guard it. Going there one night with his mother he dug untill he came in sight of the flag. His mother became frightened and told him to leave it there that they did without it up till that time and they would live with out it longer so taking his mothers advice they returned home again and he never could find out the spot where the treasure was hidden after. That treasure is there at the present time as it was never known to be found by anybody. The descendants of that young man are are in district.
