  1. Some years ago there was a man by the name of Patrick Davitt who lived in Thomastown and who died a few years ago.
    He was cutting turf in Cashinstown bog when one day he took up the barrow of going to wheel it and as he was going along he came to a bush and he left down the barrow and said I am just at the bush and a voice said after him "I am just at the bush". He thought it was a spirit but it must have been the echo of his own voice.
