- It is said that there is a wagon of gold in a direct line between Lacken Hill and Dublin Hill. Lacken Hill is not in this county but it is on the borders of it.
It is not known exactly who put it there, but it is supposed to have been put there by some of the Irish chieftians when when the Danes were following them in the tenth century.
There are some marks of digging around the pond, but it is not known who dug it, but the gold was never found. Often There is a light seen around the place where the pond is.- Collector
