- Rathconnell is my nearest graveyard. It is said to be the oldest in Ireland. It is in the parish of Taughmon. It is still in use. It is round in shape. There are still the ruins of an old chapel and a castle in it. The churchyard slopes to the south. There are trees in it, ash, alder, cherry, yew.
