Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)the "Lester Garden". A man by name of Lester lived in a garden which was situated in the middle of a field. When he died his name was remembered by having it on the garden.
The "Cow-park" which is a very old name for a field is owned by Major Smyth, also. This is kept specially for cows and no other beast is ever allowed into it.
The "Carteren" is another field owned by the same man. It got its name from the number of cart-tracks, ridges and holes.
"King-Castle" owned by Mr Lestrange, Galmoylestown is situated between Knockdrin and Mullingar. Long ago a castle was built there and its ruins are still there.
In Mount Murray which is situated on the south-west side of Lough Owel there is a field called the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Faisnéiseoir
