   is the present Parish Priest. He is a native of Offaly in Ballinabown Parish. deanery of Clonmacnoise. Ordained in 1914 he went on the mission to the United States. (New York and Brooklyn). He spent six years there. Since his return he was C.C. in Ardagh (twice). Newtownforbes. And Longford. He was Adm in Streete before his appointment here as P.P. He has reroofed the church and completely renovated it besides at a cost of over £3000. At present he is engaged in the erection of the two new schools for which Fr Skelly secured the sites. He is now aged about 48.
   Mr Byrne Dublin is architect employed at the churchwork. He was engaged by the late Fr Skelly when the Presbytery was being renovated.
   Mr John Rowley Leixlip (native of Mohill parish Co Leitrim) is contractor. John Geelan native of Mohill worked as slater and plasterer. His wage is probably £4 per week or over. Together with extra pay for over time. There were other tradesmen from Leitrim besides. Two Ryan borthers from Tipperary worked do carpenters.
   Local labourers employed are Patrick Farrell (Ivy) Correy, Rathowen (married). Thomas Mulaniff and Joseph Kenny Rathown. Raes of pay 38/- (approx, over-time extra. Mulaniff and Kenny are employed at the school building Rathown.
