    At Kiltycreevagh cross roads my grandfather Patrick Dolan dug up two skeletons of men and three cannon balls The men were buried again. Those are supposed to have been there from the battle of Ballinamuck. they were very big men.
    There is a monument erected in Ballinamuck to the memory of General Blake who was hanged. It represents a soldier with a broken pike in his hand. It was erected in 1928.
