    said that if you can catch a fairy and not take your eyes off him where would you find a crock of gold. The fairy is only met in a lonely place. People that met him say that he lives in a fort or under a mushroom. When the shoemaker heard this he said he would go and look for the fairy. He said that if he got a crock of gold he would build a new house and wear good clothes. There was a fort near his cottage. He waited for the next night to look for the fairy. About eleven o'clock he went to the fort for he heard that fairies do not be out
