    glen at the head of the bay. The little stream that flows in the bottom of the valley divides the two districts of Nuke. The part at the Nuke side of the stream is called Tigh-no-Coola or "The house in the wood," while the S. side is called Balleyoran or Foran's town, St Catherine is at the Ballyoran side of the stream.
    Two or three of these old roads converge at St. Catherine, one leads down to Buttermilk Castles, (or might we call it Dundonolfs Castle) another called Boheenvaurd connects St. Catherines with Balleyhack. There are several of these old bohereens that connect one little group of houses with another, so that there is an old world appearance about the whole district.
