- There are several games of ball but the one I am going to describe is called "A fairy Byke
This rhyme is said while the game is being played
"I have a byke"
"A fairy byke" Quick March!
"Under the arch
OXO oxo
For the first line the ball is thrown up and caught again and for the second line the player stamps her foot.
For the third line the player puts the ball under her leg and throws it up in the air.
Then for the last line the player knocks the ball up three times against a wall without letting it fall because if it touches the ground the player is out.
If the player is not out she goes on with the same thing and if she is not out then she is said to be "game"
Then the next player takes her turn.- Bailitheoir
