- St. Ann's Well.About five miles outside the town of Wexford, there is a well, called St. Ann's. Many diseases have been cured there.One day a poor old man was passing by the well. He moved very slowly as there was something wrong with him. The day was very hot and the man was thirsty. He knelt down by the well and took a 'sup' of the water. When he had drank, he seemed to have new life in him.The next day he came down and this time he took a bottle with him. He drank some of the water and he filled the bottle. Everytime he had finished the bottle of water he came and took another one.(continues on next page)
